Commissioned by Klaver Technische bedrijf / Bsmart, Elektro Internationaal has been able to literally showcase her knowledge and skills. The KNX specialist asked us to install three panels and then provide glass doors, so that the panels in Klaver’s building can serve as show models. With these specifications, Elektro Internationaal supplied a home automation panel, a main distributor and a sub-distributor in Schneider Electric’s Prisma G system.
Wireless metering
The panels are equipped with extra components from the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure range that offer a number of advantages. For example, the panels are equipped with the Smartlink and PowerTags. These components provide a wireless KWh measurement of the outgoing groups via Ethernet. The PowerTags replace the calibrated trip contacts and give an alarm in case of overcurrent or short circuit. With one module, it is easy to provide OF contact, trip contact and real time kWh measurement. This wireless energy sensor takes up less space, saves on assembly and programming work and prevents cabling errors. Due to the lack of mechanical parts, less maintenance is required. This together makes that the Smartlink and PowerTag offer a more cost-effective and faster solution than traditional components.
That not only sounds good, but also looks very exciting behind a glass door. Why hide it?
