2015, Bleiswijk - The Netherlands
Elektro Internationaal in Woerden was commissioned by Kromwijk Elektrotechniek to make every effort to make the electro-technical design of the multi-storey Bakery Hoogvliet an absolute success.
To start with, the brand independent specialist in panel construction and control technology supplied two main distributors in the Okken system by Schneider Electric. ”Real custom work,” says project manager Dirk Blom. ”On the feeding side at medium voltage level an emergency power supply was installed that could not take over the full power in one go. Our emergency power control specialist has set up a complete control system to be able to switch step-by-step in the main distributors. And that is quite unique at medium voltage level.”
In addition, Elektro Internationaal supplied vertical and wall mounted sub distributors in the systems Prisma P, Prisma G and GK. ”The Prisma GK distributors, incidentally, have an extra high dust density, because they are located in a part of the factory where they come into contact with baker’s flour,” Blom explains. The main distributors were connected on site by the service technicians from Elektro Internationaal. ”That way Kromwijk put the full responsibility for the critical distributors with one trusted party. We installed the connection pieces of the busbar systems in our own workshop, with which the various sub-distributors were connected to the main distributors on site.
Everything was transported in parts to the different levels of the bakery at Bleiswijk and was assembled by our service department on site. Our service technicians have also made the necessary extensions.”
In addition to power control, Elektro Internationaal realized a piece of light control based on KNX modules. The actors were programmed, addressed and commissioned by the Woerden specialist in control techniques. ”In this project, Electro International has shown itself to be at home in a wide range of electro-technical disciplines,” Blom concludes.
