U-shaped Okken panel

We recently delivered a U-shaped distribution panel to a pharmaceutical customer. Built in Schneider Electric’s Okken system, this MD panel will be located in one of the pharmaceutical company’s main production facilities, where production will run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the existing installation, the main distributor was so outdated and end of life that it had to be replaced. Moreover, the panel no longer met the requirements that the pharmaceutical company now sets for its installation.

The new power distribution panel is laid out at 1600 A and intended for the new low voltage room. An L-shape was prescribed by the client. Together with installation company Elektravon, we designed the panel as a U to make more efficient use of space and save costs. The Okken panel was coupled on location by our service engineers at the end of October. Elektravon connects the old installation to the new distributor in phases, after which the old distributor will be dismantled.
