Beyond Meat, Inc., a leading producer of vegetable meat, cooperates with Zandbergen World’s Finest Meat. The innovative vegetable meat products under the Beyond Meat label will be produced in a new production facility in Zoeterwoude, built by Zandbergen. This will be Beyond Meat’s first production facility outside the United States. Construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020.

Commissioned by Linthorst Techniek, Elektro Internationaal engineered and produced two main distributors for the new production facility in the Okken system by Schneider Electric. Preparatory work was also carried out in the workshop in Woerden for the installation of Alpha busbar elements.

The distributors - each with a capacity of 3200Amp - were both delivered in two parts and coupled on site in Zoeterwoude. The connectors for the Alpha busbar system were also assembled on site by the Elektro International service team.
