Halogen-free wiring solutions

As of June 1, Elektro Internationaal only uses halogen-free wiring and cable trays in its energy distribution systems and control panels. The advantages of using halogen-free cable products are that in the event of a fire there is no emission of toxic and corrosive gases and up to 10 times less smoke development. This limits the consequential damage in electrical systems. The reduced smoke development further limits the speed at which a fire can expand.

Elektro Internationaal considers it as a responsibility to apply these high-quality, safe and environmentally friendly wiring solutions and therefore does not implement any cost increase for the use of this product in produced panels.
